Stratocell ® Packaging Moulding System v Traditional Polystyrene Moulding Systems

Stratocell® foam packaging is a more cost effective packaging moulding system than traditional polystyrene moulding solutions. The average tooling set up cost for polystyrene moulding is £4-5000 whereas with Stratocell ® tooling starts from £150!

You send us your product and we'll get the tooling set up done for you. As the tooling set up is so low and running costs considerably lower than for polystyrene moulding systems we can do short runs from as little as 100 pieces!

Stratocell ® foam packaging has lower packaging costs than traditional polystyrene moulding systems as it uses less foam which results in smaller packs, reducing material and shipping costs.

Stratocell ® also offers excellent material yield as wide widths minimises waste during fabrication, further reducing material costs and reducing waste whilst retaining maximum product protection.

To go ahead contact us first to discuss your product that requires packaging and once we've verified that Stratocell ® is the way forward all you have to send is your product and we'll do the rest and design your prototype packaging.

Our five step package design procedure:

Define the shipping environment
Define the product fragility
Select the appropriate cushioning material
Design and fabricate a prototype pack including external packaging
Verify the pack by package testing.

Allow about 2-3 weeks for the prototype of the Stratocell ® foam packaging plus a further 2 weeks from design approved to delivery.
